Hello! Here's a bit of information about me...
I am currently in my 11th year of teaching and couldn't be more excited! I love Langston Road Elementary and am proud to be part of such a wonderful school community! Teaching children is one of my greatest passions and a call that the Lord has placed on my life. I feel truly blessed to be a part of my students' lives to help them learn and grow.
I graduated from Truett-McConnell University in Cleveland, GA where I earned a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education with a reading endorsement. I earned my Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Georgia Southern University. I am also certified in Gifted Education and Special Education. I began my teaching career in August of 2012 as a third grade teacher at Chattahoochee Christian School in Clermont, GA. From there, I moved to Robinson Elementary and taught kindergarten and second grade. I was very excited when I was asked to be a Langston Road Stallion and continue my teaching career in August 2017. I spent my first year at LRES teaching second grade before I moved to fourth grade.
My husband, Matt and I live in Perry with our sweet boys, Elijah, Ezra, and Judah, and our two dogs, Kavu and Finley. Matt is the youth pastor at our church. We enjoy being outdoors and visiting with friends and family!
In our classroom, we learn together, grow together, and succeed together. We will be working on building life-long skills like teamwork, responsibility, cooperation, and creativity. Each child has his or her own strengths and weaknesses. We will work together to encourage each others' strengths and improve weaknesses while striving to have an honorable character. My goal is to create an exciting, nurturing environment that helps the students become life-long learners.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Caporale
